As a tropical island country with scarce resources, Singapore is fast achieving social, economic and environmental sustainability in a matter of a few decades, through prudent management of resources, technology, innovation and sound policies. Singapore’s excellent water recycling and management systems, carbon policies, green and resilient city design has much to offer to other Asian countries that are striving to achieve the 2030 Agenda. Anaadi Foundation’s Center for Research in Ecology and Sustainable Technologies, CREST has been organising the iS-FIVE (International Sustainability Field Visits and Exchange) program, where participants get to travel to a country and learn various aspects of Sustainability implementation there and the Singapore edition is being organized to learn & understand the core Sustainability strengths of Singapore.

Fellows will get opportunities to interact with and learn from international experts in various areas of sustainability
Participants will gain first hand exposure through field visits to Industries, Governmental Projects and Research groups in Singapore.
The visit will be an opportunity for two-way exchange of ideas where best practices from one's home country can be shared with other international participants
The iS-FIVE program is envisioned to give participants an opportunity to learn by visiting University Research groups working on sustainability,
interacting with Government officials working on implementing a specific project,
industries and farms visit to witness sustainable practices implementation on the ground.
The program will be a blend of field visits, brainstorming sessions and discussions. This program will also pave the way for:
a. Learning from the technologies of Singapore and exploring the feasibility of adopting them in India (in the areas and geographies within India that the delegates work)
b. Collaboration for future visits, exchange, and studies

The program fee is Rs. 84,000 for those joining from India.
Partial scholarships of upto Rs. 15,000 are available for selected applicants
The program fee is Rs. 68,000 for those joining from India.
Partial scholarships of upto Rs. 9,000 are available for selected applicants
Upon selection you will be asked to be pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 7,000.
After you apply and receive your visa, you may pay the remaining amount within the due date mentioned in your selection email.

Scholarships of upto Rs. 20,000 are available for selected applicants
The program fee is Rs. 1,80,000 for those joining from India.
For International participants the fee is EUR 1,400.
It covers the following:
- International airfare (not for International participants)
- Domestic travel for field visits in Sweden
- Food and accommodation in Sweden for 5 days and 5 nights
- Course materials
Note: International participants will have to book their flight tickets to and from Sweden. It is NOT included in the program fee.

Prajna is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with distinction from Amrita University. She co-leads several initiatives on education, rural development and sustainability. She actively connects with educational institutions to create awareness about the SDGs and indigenous solutions.
Garima has a Masters in Environmental Sciences from Kurukshetra University. She is passionate about educating the next generation of learners on Sustainability and its best practices and inspiring them to integrate it in their lives.
Smt. Smrithi Rekha Adinarayanan is the co-founder of Anaadi Foundation. Mrs. Smrithi was a faculty at Amrita University teaching Computer Science and Cultural & Value Education for a decade. She was also an Educational and Cognitive Science researcher at Amrita University. She has an MS from State University of New York and was a visiting faculty to University of L’Aquila, Italy. With strong inclination to Dharmic thought and Yogic sciences, Mrs. Smrithi blends insights from Indic sciences, education and ecology in programs offered by Anaadi Foundation. She is a Fellow of European SPES (Spirituality in Economics and Society) Institute and a core group member of MHRD panel designing National level Value Education program for schools in the country.
The Anaadi Sustainability Awareness for the Young is one of the few selected SDGs education programs worldwide to have been selected as a part of the prestigious Global Schools Program and is happyt to contribute to :
“Empowering schools and teachers globally to educate children about the SDGs”
The vision of the program is to generate interest about sustainable development in schools in an effort to educate and engage students with the SDGs and to encourage them to prioritize the goals in their lifestyles, behaviors, education and professional careers as these goals provide framework for a better world that children could live in the future. The program aims to do this by transforming learning environments globally and making schools the hubs of education and leadership on SDGs, ultimately becoming vehicles for empowering and mobilizing students and young people to help implement the SDGs in their communities.
ESD Expert Net, Germany supported by Engagement Global is a key UNESCO partner in the implementation of the “Education for Sustainable Development”. The ESD Expert Net supports its endeavours: “To initiate and intensify activities at all levels and in all areas of education to accelerate the process towards sustainable development”. ASAY project is currently supported by Engagement Global, Germany
Anaadi Foundation is a member of UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth. In 2012, the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon launched the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to mobilise global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical problem solving for Sustainable Development. SDSN Youth educates young people about the Sustainable Development Goals and provides opportunities for them to pioneer innovative solutions to address the world's biggest challenges.
